Square One Systems Design: (Summer of 2010 - Summer of 2012)

I began an internship with Square One Systems Design after my Junior year of high school. I worked at Square One for 3 years; full time during the summer and part time during the fall. At Square One the majority of my work was spent as a programmer working in the National Instruments Labview language. I worked on a variety of projects which featured work on:
  • Robotic Kinematics
  • Parallel Mechanism Design
  • Machine Vision
  • LiDAR and Point Cloud Analysis (PCL)
  • Mobile Robotic Navigation (SLAM, A*, and Inertial Odometry)
  • Embedded System Design
  • Real-time Operating System Programming
  • Programming in C++/C, Java, Matlab, and Labview
  • Data Analysis in Excel
  • FPGA Code Creation with Xilinx and Labview
  • Microcontroller and Embedded System Programming
  • Network Communication with UDP and TCP
  • Multithreaded and Distributed Processing
  • Synchronous and Asynchronous Dynamic Motor Planning
On the individual project pages I highlight some of the projects I worked on, however more information can be found at the source http://www.sqr-1.com. I would suggest that you take a look at my most recent project from Square One the Augmented Talon for Autonomous Control or ATAC.
